Become The Security Professional Who Gets Right In The Thick Of Things.

This Is How Youโ€™ll Get Ready For The Real World.

At Trivian, you train in a live simulation environment that feels like a real security operation under fire. You detect attacks, respond to incidents, and investigate what went wrong โ€” exactly the work a security team does every day. That way, you donโ€™t enter the field as a theorist, but as someone who already knows the job.

Real-world scenarios

Youโ€™ll work through attack scenarios based on real-world security operations. These arenโ€™t isolated exercises โ€” youโ€™ll train in an environment that feels just like the real thing, with the same pressure and the same decision points.

01

Suitable for both beginners and advanced learners

The environment grows with you. Whether youโ€™re just starting out or already have experience, youโ€™ll practice at a level that matches where you are and build your skills step by step, without big leaps.

02

Continuously updated

Threats change at lightning speed. Our simulation environment changes along with them: you train using the latest attack techniques and methods, not scenarios from a few years ago.

03

Learning by simulating and defending against attacks.

In Trivianโ€™s live simulation environment, youโ€™ll take part in a realistic security operation. Youโ€™ll detect attacks, respond to them, and investigate what happenedโ€”exactly the kind of work a security team does every day. That way, you wonโ€™t enter the field as a theorist, but as someone whoโ€™s already mastered the job.

Why Trivian?

01

Ready for the real world, not just for the exam

You can earn a certificate through many training programs. What youโ€™ll take away from Trivian is proven hands-on experience โ€” youโ€™ll have worked in a realistic simulation environment, identifying and fending off attacks. On your first day in your new role, you wonโ€™t be a junior still getting the hang of thingsโ€”youโ€™ll hit the ground running.

02

Practicing in a real simulation environment

Trivian trains you in a live, realistic environment that simulates the security operations youโ€™ll encounter in the real world. Theory without practice teaches you nothing; practice without guidance doesnโ€™t either. At Trivian, you get both, developed by specialists from the security industry.

03

Small groups, personalized guidance

We deliberately limit our class sizes to a maximum of 16 students per groupโ€”not because we canโ€™t do otherwise, but because it leads to better results. Your instructor gets to know you, your pace, and your background. Questions get answered, and obstacles get cleared away.

04

Active support in finding a job.

We wonโ€™t leave you hanging after the last class. Through our network of partner companies, an active alumni network, and personal guidance, weโ€™ll help you take the next step toward your first or next security role. Thereโ€™s no formal job guarantee, but weโ€™ll do everything we can to help you find work.

Where You Can Go After Completing The Program.

Cybersecurity professionals are needed everywhere: at banks, hospitals, government agencies, tech companies, and industrial organizations. Demand for well-trained professionals grows every year, while supply consistently lags behind. The positions listed below are the most in-demand roles that our training programs prepare you for.

SOC Analyst.

Detect attacks in real time from a Security Operations Center (SOC). Youโ€™re the first line of defense: always alert, quick to analyze, and decisive.

Estimated salary: โ‚ฌ3,000 โ€“ โ‚ฌ5,500 per month (Tier 3: up to โ‚ฌ7,000)

Ethical Hacker / Penetration Tester

Test an organization's defenses by thinking and acting like an attackerโ€”but legally. You find the vulnerabilities before the real attackers do.

Estimated salary: โ‚ฌ3,000 โ€“ โ‚ฌ5,000 per month

Incident Responder.

When an organization is under attack, youโ€™re the one who steps in. You analyze what happened, limit the damage, and make sure it canโ€™t happen again.

Estimated salary: โ‚ฌ3,500 โ€“ โ‚ฌ5,500 per month

Threat Hunter.

You seek out the threats that slip past the first line of defense. Youโ€™re proactive, methodical, and have a keen eye for patterns that automated systems miss.

Estimated salary: โ‚ฌ4,000 โ€“ โ‚ฌ7,000 per month

OT Security Specialist.

Secure factories, power grids, and critical infrastructure. Operational technology (OT) is in high demand: the systems are critical, and the risks are enormous.

Estimated salary: โ‚ฌ4,000 โ€“ โ‚ฌ6,500 per month

SIEM Analyst

Work daily with platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and QRadar to identify threats from a flood of log data.

Estimated salary: โ‚ฌ3,000 โ€“ โ‚ฌ5,000 per month

Malware Analyst

Dissect malicious software down to its very core. Understand how attackers operate, how malware spreads, and how organizations can defend against it.

Estimated salary: โ‚ฌ4,000 โ€“ โ‚ฌ6,500 per month

Security Architect

Design and build the technical defense systems of modern organizations. From firewalls to SIEM architecture, you make sure the foundation is solid.

Estimated salary: โ‚ฌ4,500 โ€“ โ‚ฌ7,500 per month

Financing for you.

A training program is an investment in your future. For most students, the payback period is short: a move into a security role typically means a solid salary in a high-demand market. Weโ€™ll help you find the financing option that suits your situation.

Pay in installments through Finance4Learning

With Finance4Learning, you can easily spread your investment over multiple installments. The application process is quick, and weโ€™re happy to help you work out what fits your situation. Final approval depends on your personal circumstances.

01

Regulations

Depending on your situation, there are options that can (partially) cover the cost. UWV โ€” currently unemployed and looking for work? Through the UWV, you may be eligible for a training voucher or an individual reintegration program. Weโ€™ll help you prepare for your meeting with the UWV. O&O Fund โ€” Do you work in a sector with its own training fund? If so, your employer can apply for a contribution toward your training. Itโ€™s worth checking with your HR department or union to see if this is an option. Training Budget โ€” Many employers have an annual training budget that you can use for this purpose. Weโ€™ll provide a well-reasoned proposal that you can submit to your employer.

02

Personal advice

Not sure which route is best for you? Schedule a consultation. We'll review your situation together and help you find the best option.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Honest answers to the questions weโ€™re asked most often, about admission requirements, time commitment, financing, and what comes after the program.

Do I need IT experience or prior knowledge to get started?

At the beginner level, we build the technical foundation entirely from scratch with you. You donโ€™t need to be a programmer or have an IT background. What we do ask for: an interest in technology, a willingness to work hard, and the ability to read technical English. Different entry requirements apply to advanced and expert-level courses; during the introductory interview, weโ€™ll work with you to determine which level is right for you.

That depends on the program and format you choose. The Cybersecurity Specialist and Tier 1+2 SOC Analyst programs can be completed full-time in 15 weeks (32 hours per week, 4 days), but can also be taken part-time: 2 weekdays (6 months) or 2 evenings per week (10โ€“12 months). Shorter specializations, such as Penetration Tester Expert (150 hours) or Forensic Expert (64 hours), can also be spread out. All formats are hybridโ€”a combination of online and in-person classes in Schiphol-Rijk. A fully online option is available on request.

You can spread your investment through Finance4Learning; the application is quick, and weโ€™re happy to help you think it through. Are you unemployed? You may be eligible for a training voucher through the UWV. Work in a sector with its own training fund, or does your employer have an annual training budget? Thereโ€™s a good chance your training can be (partly) reimbursed โ€” weโ€™ll provide a well-reasoned proposal you can submit. Not sure which path is best for you? Schedule a consultationโ€”weโ€™ll work together to find the option that best fits your situation.

The demand for security professionals is growing every yearโ€”and there is a chronic shortage of people trained to keep up with that demand. That puts graduates in a strong position in the job market. Trivian actively supports you through mentoring, our network of partner companies, and an active alumni network. We donโ€™t offer a formal job guarantee, but we do everything we can to help you find work.

A traditional program gives you a broad theoretical foundation and a diploma. The Trivian route is shorter, hands-on, and focused directly on day-to-day security work, with internationally recognized certifications that employers actively look for. The cost is considerably lower than a full HBO program. If you want to be job-ready quickly, or youโ€™re already working and want to retrain, our approach is usually the faster route into a security role. The choice is yours; weโ€™ll discuss what suits your situation during an introductory meeting.
